So if people can’t live entirely on Bitcoin then how does “Bitcoin fixes this.”?

The World Wide Web didn't immediately make working remotely possible. You couldn't just video chat with people. Now you can basically live on the internet if you really want to.
For me, I understand how adoption works and do the best I can with where the world currently is for Bitcoin adoption. For me, that looks like fiat landing into an account, my bills pulling from that pool, and everything else being converted to Bitcoin. "Buying" Bitcoin with fiat is no different than buying a sandwich with Bitcoin. It's all trade in the end, and fiat currencies are still the dominant form of "money" for most people. Intermediates like me and you are the people who push adoption forward. Future people will just come online and think it all happened overnight.
I don't think everyone can live entirely on Bitcoin. I think that's a myth perpetuated by a small portion of influencers who love much differently than most humans can or will right now. But I also don't think it's reasonable to expect to at this point. I'm effectively on a Bitcoin standard, even if I get paid in fiat. I won't accept it as payment when it can no longer be traded for Bitcoin. By that point, I imagine it will be possible to be paid in Bitcoin or a relevant layer like ecash, etc.
