So a few days ago, I opened my bank app to pay some bills and almost swallowed my teeth. The balance was 30x what I expected it to be. So I looked and saw a huge deposit from the irs. We had to pay a big chunk when we filed, so I couldn't imagine what this was. A couple of days later there was a letter stating that this was a refund of an over payment on our 2022 taxes. This was very suspicious to me, how could we pay nearly double taxes without noticing? Next day I got another letter. 1/2
