I'm not autistic. I often find social interactions enjoyable and easy. I swing wildly between needing social interaction to feeling utter exhaustion at the thought of leaving the house. I can go out regularly to socialise then get burned and stay in the house and try and avoid people for months.

I think we all need some solace from the world though so I think it is quite normal.
