Drove around a rental Kia Niro EV this week while we waited for some warranty work on the #Rivian. Had some zip, hyper-efficient (about 30% more than the Riv), and was fairly roomy. BUT the chimes and alerts and “safety” reminders were so obnoxious! I also had to expressly press the power button to turn off the car, which is not something that I’m used to, so I kept accidentally leaving it “on”. The Star Trek-style tone at low speeds got really annoying, too because the pitch kept changing.
