when i was younger i thought that if i don't know how to do something perfectly then i don't know how to do it and so obviously shouldn't do it

i had no idea that actually nobody knows what the fuck they are doing - not even those who are the best in the world at it

for example Elon Musk has demonstrated with Tesla that even Porsche had no idea what they were doing building cars when he basically forced Porsche to copy Tesla

likewise in sport if you look at improvements in swimming over the past century it is clear that actually none of the swimming champions actually knew how to swim ... and quite likely still don't ( though they got much better )

so there is an odd white pill from me - namely that just because you're stupid and have no clue doesn't really make you very different from the greatest people in the world

you're not fully, really and truly retarded until you actually start believing that you are anything but a bumbling fool

personally i no longer analyze technique videos of swimming champions - because there is no reason for me to believe that their technique is better than mine. they are 6'4" and 20 years old and train in the pool for 20 hours a week ( versus 30 minutes a week for me ) and likely use drugs so it is not really any wonder they are faster than me. that doesn't mean their technique is actually optimal, because historically it never was as we can see in hindsight.

i now develop my own butterfly technique completely independently from how anybody else swims butterfly. i am far more gifted in physics than olympic swimmers or their coaches so they should be learning from me not the other way around.

i actually developed a new swimming style these past 2 years that is a combination of butterfly and dolphin kick ...

what many people don't realize is that actually even the dumb fuck champion swimmers can actually swim faster than they do at the Olympics but they are hampered by RULES that would disqualify them ...

that was my clue to stop copying them and go my own way because there are no rules limiting me ...

so yeah reality is Olympic Swimmers are both drug tested AND have to follow idiotic rules AND their technique is only "perfect" relative to current understanding of the sport ... which is still incomplete ... AND some forms of swim suits are banned as well ( due to being extra slippery in water )

so actually it's possible to be significantly faster than the fastest Olympics performances to date ...

of course not being able to copy the best because you're above them is only a problem for Super-Geniuses like me.

you subhuman rats should be OK with copying others even though they aren't half as amazing as i am.
