Someone ELI5 #ordinals to me:
I inscribe a picture on a sat and then pay for that transaction on the mempool. How is that say not still just one sat?
Why would anyone pay more sats for that one sat? Especially in a finite currency like bitcoin.
And what happens if all the sats have pictures on them and you’re trading sats with pics for sats with pics? Isn’t that just like trading cards in a playground?
What if I get a sat with a pic on it in a payment and I don’t want it? Can I delete that pic?
Is this just like drawing dicks on a dollar note?
