Thermostat says it's 74°f in the apartment. It's a bit warmer than that in the living room, but much better than 85. A fan will help.
Went to breakfast (!) and to the store (!!) and tied off loose ends with the house. It's so nice to be able to do things as and when we need to.
The apartment is so quiet it's almost unreal. Our balcony overlooks the pool so we hear when people are using it, but I haven't heard anything from the neighbors. We just as well be alone.
We've met a few of the people who live in the building. They seem nice.
