One (just 1!!!) of the complications of library work is that we often become a default “rec center” or “day care”. Many kids in underserved communities don’t have WiFi and they don’t have adults supervision so they come to the #library to hang out and game. That immediately means there will be issues. Many older adults(70+ crowd) still think kids should be 1. Accompanied by an adult (maybe even holding hands) 2. Whispering- which hasn’t been a thing for 15 yrs at least. 1/
