I was explaining to spouse that I’ve switched over to using grams for weighing my yarn, and am about to buy myself a scale with tenth of a gram measurements for more precision.
He pointed out that I could measure my yarn in scruples if I wanted. (A scruple is about 1.296g). It would certainly be amusing! But I don’t think I could easily get a digital scale that uses them, and I think people buying my knitting patterns would be annoyed.
(Not really serious. Just an amusing thought.)
