It's been obvious for a while that #ai was going to destroy the white collar staffing pipeline as short-sighted businesses (who already often refuse to invest in developing junior staff) eliminate junior positions in lieu of mid-level / senior employees armed with LLMs. Looks like Brookings agrees:

Obviously my concern is the destruction of the #tech apprentice pipeline, but the same dynamics apply to countless other professions.
