The whole point is to reduce population (and profit in the process). Thomas Malthus wasn't recommending population reduction - only pointing out that supporting larger populations requires innovation, which requires freedom. Hence, totalitarian regimes require reduced population to function. The globalist goal is totalitarian rule.

Note that there can be practical freedom under a dictator/monarch that doesn't micromanage (stays in his lane). The globalist totalitarian rule is a bureaucratic one (Deep State/administrative state). It's not a new problem - the Deep State in Bible history was referred to as simply "the officials". Or in modern talk show parlance, "anonymous unelected administrators".
