People only care about content.

"Where can I follow news?"

But for me, it has always been "the tech".

I'm just mind blown how it is all just signed and encrypted messages with no server having any control over what I can and cannot do.

I also love that these messages don't need to be text either. Zaps, zapstore, marketplaces, there's just so much potential here.
