I agree with chrisresch (nprofile…kfen) , you are underestimating the EU.....I mean look at it: it's clear as day to everybody that EU fucked up IMMENSLY in the last 30 years, they are wiping out all the wealth they accumulated in centuries in few decades, europeans living left and right for overseas countires, business dying because of impossible burocracy and regulations, and what do they do? they cling to their latest shitty idea (€ cbdc) even though it's obvious it cannot compete with stablecoins/btc.

I think it's way more likely that they will force it onto people (in good old dictatorial fashion) rather than giving people choice to use it or not
