One of my funniest pandemic moments to date:
Around year 2 of the pandemic, a big cop knocked on my door. (It turned out he was asking about a car parked on the street that needed to be moved, but I didn't know that yet.)
I opened the door and he was in a mask but *right* there on my doorstep.
I barked out, in *my* best cop voice: "I'm going to need you to step back six feet, sir."
And he did!
Not bad for Tiny Immigrant Girl. 😂
*I think it surprised both of us. 😂
