I'd have to work pretty hard to not make it sound like a psycho-pass fanfic, and that immediate concern would make my writing stiff.
In the dream it was the AI that controlled the city. When we escaped there was robots chasing us and shit, but they couldn't get past the fence. Then there was farmland, then the convenience store with our sex tape. I didn't get a good grasp of the rules of Outside, other than they were allowed to buy sex tapes there, and you couldn't in the city. The dream was super-detailed in some ways, and super-vague in others
