"content": "Wrong, because I can't play certain games without Steam. Often, publishers wont publish on other stores, even ones with DRM like Origin or EGS, due to player count.\r\n\r\nSame as I described with Windows. Even without their mafioso tactics employed by these companies their sheer install base of users means it's often not even worth the effort of the companies to publish elsewhere. \r\n\r\nBut, that means consumers wont go to other platforms, because there aren't that many games on them.",
