My wife has cancer and had her two-week pre-operative physical today. She wore a mask, and the doctor asked her why. That makes me want to scream. Why ask a cancer patient who can't let a #COVID19, RSV or flu infection disrupt her surgical schedule why she's wearing a mask!? A better question is why the doctor was not. (The doctor seemed proud that the hospital will institute a mask rule on Jan 6--just a month too late!)
