This is one more example of a vote not making sense, and voting against your own interests. Republicans have offered nothing that would actually make the economy better than it is, and a ‘mass deportation’ won’t make anything else better.
The propaganda machine is a lot responsible for this as well as the media in general. Disinformation and resentment sells.
