This is now functioning as a real-time-ish Earth/solar clock. It displays the latest images from NASA’s EPIC instrument on my desktop. The images are matched to the current UTC HH:MM. The script used for this is a Python script that downloads the images and creates an index.json file. This Python script is run by the widget’s .jsx script, and it attempts to download the images only once a day.
