There's actually no way to know who supports us on Liberapay, let alone engage with them for things like this. If there was, we would have engaged our supporters there, too.

With regards to the decision, we knew we wouldn't be able to please everyone, it's just one of those things unfortunately. We felt this was the most diplomatic way that still gave users the choice.
