One reason why I take and post lots of photos now: for about a decade, I had a terrible autoimmune disease that made my hands shake nonstop.

I don’t feel like I have any ‘good’ pictures from that period. I don’t even have half as many pet pictures as I do now. I just couldn’t .. hold or focus a camera. Or a phone.

My dive back into photography coincides with my starting to feel better. My hands don’t shake. Anymore.

And being able to take photos again is a gift for me.
