When somebody's tragic death is reported, those who knew the person would describe them as "bubbly" (but people were never bubbly until they died.) But now they are always described as "the life and soul of the party" and "they lit up the room".
Just once I would like them to say, he was a quiet, retiring sort of person, gentle and kind, and although he rarely went out in public he was always ready to give a helping hand. Or something appropriate rather than copying descriptions from the media.
