I don't wholly agree with that, especially when it comes to Paganism/Ancient ways, but I wont deny that when a belief is pushed by a major figure at least that version of it is corrupt.
And when they start to do sus things, like insist we ignore the issues caused by something like Islam, then regardless of what they believe they need to be regarded with significant suspicion.
