This very good boy just passed away last night. He was my parents' companion for fifteen years, and my father's loyal friend until he himself passed away, six years ago. In the last two years of Arvo's life, he suffered from many insults, including lymphoma, hip degeneration, muscle wasting, a chronically-infected cyst which caused the loss of his tail, and irritable bowels. But he remained sunny and loving up to the very end. My family and I will miss him terribly.
