#OTD 16 June 1849 Johanna Olofsdotter, age 44, died of tuberculosis in Skärkind parish, Östergötland, Sweden. She had borne 11 children during her 22-year marriage to Pehr Eric Jonsson Wiberg, with two of the children dying young. The 8th child was my great-great-grandmother, Matilda. The family moved frequently, as Pehr was a farm laborer. I can't imagine relocating every year or two and always having infants and toddlers to deal with, though there were few possessions.
