Now I am really tempted to try that out :) My maximum on a day was approximately 1200 calories and certainly far from my limit, my BMR is 1600, so 4000 calories is surely doable once :) Non ultramarathoners can even do non sustainable 5 * BMR, that would be 8000 calories. I did once 4 days of hard dry fasting without a lot of movement, so burned maybe 7000 calories in that time period, but 8000 calories (assuming BMR and food intake chancel each other out) in one day through exercise sounds way, way harder :)
