#OTD 28 June 1924 Noble Cole married Emma Steffy in Berrien County, Michigan. Noble had relocated to Michigan for the job opportunities, but had been born in Tennessee and had lived in Arkansas. Emma was a Michigan native. They had one child.
My grandfather, Clifford Cole, was jealous of his older brother having the name of Noble. So he took the middle name of Royal to irk his brother.
