Problem is they react with moisture to create bubbles, so no good for wood. The so called urethane varnishes are long or tall oil varnish with a little TDI (aromatic, Not UV stable) isocyanate reacted in to make them tough and durable. Tung supposedly doesn't yellow, but it starts out so dark don't know how you would know.",
