My source for hardware was newegg until my need for hardware was reduced, MATE over Debian-like OS works really well. So well that when you "virtualize" over the host the virtual graphic drivers are sophisticated enough to reciprocate the functionality required.
So, my intention is to identify hardware that is well-functioning to be a Debian / Ubuntu host . . . for virtual guests . . . while serving 4x GUI terminals.
The rest is meaningless, in the UNIX-world. Localized scale factors, where the performance of the graphic card on the box has no consequences.
I just want a 4x, 6x, 8x, 12x, etc array. I want it to work. I will never bench-mark it. I just want it to work.
