Apnea is some serious stuff, speaking from experience. It is like a malevolent gremlin waits for me to relax, nod off, then pinches my nose shut so I can not breath. Over and over, for seconds at a time.
ENT doc looked at my air passages with his periscope camera thing and confirmed, air passages are just too squinched. Born that way.
But now my CPAP keeps them open all night with slight pressure, so I can sleep and feel much better. For me, it was such immediate relief.
