The origin of the universe is a mystery, it could be the big bang, it could be god/s or most anything else, I'm an agnostic for that reason, my personal hunch is there's either no god/s or they just don't interfere, both of these are functional identical

Macro-evolution isn't observed as it requires 1000s of years at a minimum, we've seen it a plenty from fossils records
So has Moe, we have his beard, and Joseph Smith was 100% real (the records here IIRC are shaky for Jesus but regardless), and I'm sure there's more cases like this.
Plenty of possible reasons, they could have believed it without it being true
We see things when we're dying, I forgot exactly how this works, but it's kind of like a dream
