I will never forget that one time I was cooking with a bunch of Chinese guys in a hostel and they just peer pressured me into adding more oil, they were like "yeah add more oil trust me it's gonna be good" the pan made so much smoke that we almost triggered the smoke alarm and doing so would incur a €150 fine as a prominent notice says
It was really good though, so I don't blame them they were giving me good advice
