By pretending our institutions are failing separately, the media is going to trickle feed all of us despair. Everyday it's going to tell us a new angle on the failure like it was new.

It's not. The failure already happened and everything from now on is just a newly visible symptom of that failure.

It's effectively just marketing new products (read: angle of exploitation) to the oligarchy.

We don't have to consume this crap like it was real news.
