Glenn Greenwald is smiling strangely in this picture because he is simultaneously trying not to laugh and trying not to cry because I heard about his talk at the last minute on a hot summer day and I had to run all the way across campus to make it in time and as a result I smelled so fucking awful that if I had any ability to feel shame I would have died instantly.

I was shocked that he agreed to the picture and didn't say anything about my ungodly stench. Still cracks me up 🤣 🤣 🤣
