I had more luck with Pop! than most.
A bit of a story, but a while ago I bought a used Lenovo Thinkpad 2in1 laptop. The windows license was messing with me, so I tried linux. Most use to mint distro, and even though it once supported the tablet screen, it stopped. Pop was better about it, but there were other issues with the hardware. If I wanted to use all of the features of the tablet easily, I had to go back to windows. So it's better in some ways (such as not having to install wifi card drivers), it's not perfect.
