I use microsoft copilot mostly for work. I am not a programer but I need to program some small things so I ask copilot for the code of very specific tasks, and he usually gets it right quite fast.
Also one day I neded it to draft a legal contract and copilot did it ok
In general it gives correct answers but you need to ask about things you have some knowledge (even basic ones). Not only, to be sure itnis not hallucinating, but because it is extremelly important to do the right questions, in the right way in order to get the answer you are looking for.
I've made some small free courses in coursera about prompt engeneering and I got very interesting and usefull tips about how to make a propper promt.
