My current mastodon server is planning on shutting down in a several months, and I'm trying to decide what to do about that.

My current thought is to run my own server.

Currently I've had the best luck testing Akkoma or Gotosocial.

I tried Epicyon and Takahe but I think I had trouble with those.

And I didn't try mastodon.

I'll probably end up with a few users. 5-10 I'd guess.

Does anyone have recommendations for self hosting an activity pub compatible blog/microblog service?
