Well, it's a strange opinion.

It's a philosophical matter. Something a bit close to solipsism. It should be proven first before basing something else on this statement.
Also you can't say that there's no consciousness since at least the viewer is conscious 🤷♂️
You know how it's said: "Art is in the eye of the beholder".
