In January 2020 a Raspberry Pi4 B 2G cost R720 it now costs R950. I was shocked at the 32% price increase. A quick calc showed that was only* 6.12% annual average inflation - and I was once again reminded how bad humans** are at understanding compounding effects.
* that’s not bad for South Africa
