I am on board with a general ban on fireworks but I do think a ban requires scheduled displays.
There were 0 displays in Glasgow this year, some criminals / teens put on a small display in the local neighbourhood and it was was such a nice atmosphere, loads of little kids excited to be playing out in the dark, reminded me of growing up.
