Fun research today tinkering with #Mikrotik, #Zerotier and #pfSense. There’s no Zerotier package for pfSense, but with a dedicated relay Mikrotik router and some static routes I can expose the Zerotier network to the rest of the regular network devices. The only hitch is that performance is directly related to the CPU speed of the box (Zerotier is single-threaded) so it’s looking like a
