I finally finished Breaking Twitter. More than anything I'm reminded of how a couple times I've been a part of a team that works hard on doing something we believe in only to have higher-ups bring the whole thing crashing down.

Twitter had serious problems well before Musk came in, but it was also a company that people believed in and tried to make work for its users. Musk is exactly the wrong person to run it, because he seemingly feels entitled to being liked.
