In order to make inflation go back down, they raised #interestRates, which makes it hard for business to borrow money, so they can't afford to pay employees, so people lose their #jobs, which means they have less money so inflation goes down.
Unfortunately, not enough people have lost their jobs yet so the rates can't come down yet.
