This is where I admit that writing is a core part of my life and my identity. I need to stop pretending to be a writer or being bashful about it.

I'm a writer. I be writing my ass off. I got 85k words into a fantasy martial arts revenge novel and THEN decided i didn't like it.

I got 110k words into an episodic novel centered around a women's MMA/boxing League and THEN decided i needed to refine, revise, and include more story and specific scenes to further contextualize and support my (and often NSFW) tense, dramatic fight scenes.

I've consciously changed my style thrice. On purpose. Let alone the lil myriad changes writers already make to suck less-excuse me-write better (where 'better' is almost completely subjective).

I like #writing. The process and plan and procedure and the mechanical act. I write.

I need to show more of my writing.

Hell, i joke that I've made more writing little one-off 5k word story commissions sold to fans of my work than i ever have doing anything related to martial arts or fighting games. It's a joke but it's not untrue either.

This is a come to Jesus moment to admit that writing is a core part of my life and my identity. I'm not great. I'm not prolific. But i am a writer no matter what my intrusive thoughts say
