Gm nostriches, #gold is in the process of moving into uncharted, plus $3000 an ounce territory, which to me means nothing, other than the USD never being worth less.
I’ve started carrying some gold around with me, just to test it out. Security threat is real, other than a bullion exchange or pawn shop, no one will accept it, and I’m not going to start talking about shaving a bit off to pay for a coffee, or maybe buying something over the internet with it.
When I bought this coin in 2014, for what I spend, I could have bought over 5btc (🤦♂️)!!!! In Bitcoin terms is was an awful store of value, in medium of exchange (other than zero cap gains on British gold coins) it doesn’t work, but at least as a unit of account it works better than the USD.
What does picture 3 tell me, it’s down from its ath of 40oz/btc at 26.7, will it backtest (ta legend here 🫡🙌) it’s low of 21.5 in sept 2024, maybe, but I’m feeling I’d much prefer more sats behind my private keys than a gold coin in my pocket!!!!
