Things are heating up in Bolivia with the ongoing dispute between President Arce and Evo Morales, both members of the same ostensibly leftist party. There has already been a coup (fake coup?) attempt against Arce by Morales earlier this year.
Then on Sunday, Morales said he survived an assassination (fake assassination?) attempt by Arce's forces.
Then today Arce's forces cleared a nearly three-week long bridge blockade maintained by Morales's forces that had been isolating the city of Cochabamba.
In response, Morales's forces took over three military bases in the region, seizing much weaponry.
Meanwhile, in Argentina, a criminal complaint has been filed against Morales for sexual abuse and trafficking minors during his time in exile there, while more women come forward in Bolivia speaking out against his sexual coercion and violence.
