My house was built in 1849. I think it’s really old.
This obelisk was erected 3,500 years ago at the great Temple of Karnak. 1,800 years later, in the 4th century, the Romans moved it first to Alexandria and then stuck it here in Constantinople’s hippodrome, where they raced chariots around it.
