I’ve been running my SONOS system over the same Wi-Fi network as my regular data basically since they supported it. I’ve got an EERO mesh network and it’s worked for years. The SONOS connects on the 2.4GHz band and there are APs in the same rooms as the SONOS kit. The SONOS system devices all connect on 2.4 and are the only devices on that band. Sometime in the last year or so, my Play5 started cutting out randomly.
All SONOS HW is between 8-10 years old.
I don’t know enough about radios to know if this is an interference issue or a planned obsolescence issue in the 5 hardware.
Anyone have any thoughts?
