The steel man argument is that the right to vote is so important that there is absolutely nothing the government is authorized to do to stop people from voting.
But at the same time they bend over backwards to infringe on the right to keep and bear arms, so consistency isn’t their strong point.
I don’t believe in universal suffrage. Call me old fashioned, but I don’t think people with nothing at stake should be allowed to decide how money gets spent or laws get made.
