Heh, funny you mention the class system, as it to me was apparent when I lived over there (11 years). When I asked friends/colleagues about it most objected strongly to there being a class system today though. Either they didn’t see it, or they were in denial.

For someone like me, from the outside, cunningly gliding on the outside of it (management positions has that effect if your company is successful) I thought it was obvious.

I never got to terms with that my signature on the back of my Mastercard counted more as identification than my Swedish valid photo driving license though. I have been heard swearing more than once at the local post office for not bringing an electricity/gas bill when collecting flower pots or concert tickets. 🤣
